Robert Rous, Vice Lord-Lieutenant

Robert was appointed Vice Lord-Lieutenant by Lady Euston in 2015 after many years of involvement as Chairman of various Suffolk institutions including the Suffolk Farm and Wildlife Group, Suffolk Historic Churches Trust, Suffolk Agricultural Association and St Edmundsbury Cathedral Council. He served as High Sheriff in 2002/3 . He lives with his wife Teresa at Dennington where they farm with particular care for the environment and have a wedding and events business at Bruisyard. Apart from supporting the Lord-Lieutenant generally, Robert has responsibility for the Halesworth area and has a continued connection with the many organisations with which he has been involved.
