The Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk, Clare, Countess of Euston CVO, was delighted to present Wonde Ltd with the King’s Award for Enterprise at their Headquarters in Newmarket. Wonde, a leading global education technology company, was presented with the Award in the category of Innovation.
The ceremony marks the formal conferral of the award following the national announcement in May 2025. Wonde was one of only 46 organisations nationwide to be recognised for Innovation, a testament to its transformative impact on school data integration.
During the visit, the Lord-Lieutenant met with Wonde’s leadership team and staff to learn how the company’s platform now supports over 30,000 schools across 60 countries.
The Lord-Lieutenant commented, ““It is a great pleasure to present The King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation to Wonde. This award is the highest accolade a UK business can receive, and it recognises not only Wonde’s impressive technical ingenuity but also its significant contribution to the Suffolk economy. To see a locally-based company leading the way on a global stage in education technology is a source of great pride for our county.”
“Receiving the King’s Award is a defining moment in Wonde’s journey,” said Peter Dabrowa, CEO and Co-Founder of Wonde. “To be presented with this honour by the Lord-Lieutenant here in our office, surrounded by the team and local leaders who support us, is incredibly special. This award recognises our mission to simplify technology for educators so they can focus on what matters most: the students.”
A celebration of Suffolk innovation
The presentation highlights Wonde’s role as a major employer and innovator within the Suffolk business community. Since its founding in 2015, the company has grown to a workforce of over 200 employees, providing the digital tools that allows educational software applications to communicate securely and seamlessly with school databases.
